We’re thrilled you’ve made it this far to find out more about Three Minute Heroes – and hopefully you’ll help us raise the profile of young people’s mental health and wellbeing by joining the Three Minute Heroes. How do you do that? By talking about mental health for three minutes, by blogging or vlogging about mental health for three minutes; by taking three minutes out to ask somebody how they are – there are lots of ways to become a Three Minute Hero.

Over the coming days, weeks and months you’ll hear more about why Three Minute Heroes is so important; and not only will you hear amazing lyrics from young people across Hull and East Yorkshire and but you’ll also hear the amazing music that those lyrics became – thanks to the incredibly talented bands, solo artists and producers from this part of the world.

But we want to go further. We’ve worked with over 100 young people in 6 schools so far, but our mission is to work with EVERY school in Hull so we can become a City of Three Minute Heroes that champions and promotes positive mental health and wellbeing for all our young people. Then we want to work with every school across Yorkshire to become a County of Three Minute Heroes and then (you can probably see where we’re going with this now) every school in England to become a Nation of Three Minute Heroes.

So let’s get cracking – and let’s allow young people to lead the way.
