Another exclusive clip from The Warren Youth Project’s ‘Three Minute Heroes’ music and mental health initiative.
Here we see one of Hull’s finest – The Fronteers – put another young person’s words to music at Hull University’s studios to create the outstanding song ‘Mamma’s Boy’, which is the first track on the first Three Minute Heroes album from Warren Records at the Warren Youth Project.
Like all the songs on this incredible album, it was written by a young person aged 11-18 from Hull & East Yorkshire who attended a Three Minute Heroes creative writing session at their school. These sessions are designed to provide young people with a unique creative outlet to express whatever’s on their mind and a platform to have those concerns heard. In the case it was the talented young men of the Fronteers who gave that individual a voice by creating great music from those words.
The Three Minute Heroes album – featuring 15 artists – is available to download for FREE on http://threeminuteheroes.com/music
