This documentary tells the story of how and why Three Minute Heroes came about. Our album has received critical acclaim across the board – whether it be 4-star reviews in MOJO magazine or high praise from Steve Lamacq on Radio 6 and Huw Stephens on Radio 1 – and has been featured on Channel 4. What’s important to remember is that every word of every song was written by young people aged 11-18 attending schools in Hull with the music created by established bands and musicians. It’s their voice, their concerns and their message in their own words. – If you want to begin to understand what troubles young people we implore you to listen to the songs they write, because that’s all you have to do to become a Three Minute Hero. And listening is all they ask of us.
